About Gaurav
I’m currently about to start my 3rd year at the University of Oxford studying Engineering Science. Teaching has always been a great passion of mine, and my mentality is to pass on and share my past experience and knowledge onto pupils who are seeking to improve and excel in their exams. Exams can be daunting, and I completely understand it can be confusing where to start with revision and preparation. However, my goal is to tackle your weak points, pass on strong revision techniques and show you some great exam technique tips and tricks. Whether you are struggling with an entire subject, or you’ve just got one topic that you’d like to go through, I’d absolutely love to help out!

With new students I normally have a 30 min introduction meeting, in which I like to have a chat and understand what exactly you are looking for. Every student is different! After that, I like to do 1.5 hr lessons, and split it into 2 sections. The first 45 minutes of the session tends to be going through homework questions/ reinforcing material and answering any questions you may have thought of since the last lesson. The following 45 minutes normally constitutes of grasping new knowledge, and setting homework for the following session. I like to incorporate a lot of exam questions into my lessons, since ultimately that is what we are working towards! I’ve taught for the past 3 years, and have had GCSE and A Level students all achieve A* grades! If I’m teaching students that are aspiring to go to university/ oxbridge, I also throw in a bit of personal statement help and interview prep as a little perk.
