Teaching Method and Techniques
My teaching style is structured, active, and learner-centered. I focus on helping students understand concepts deeply rather than memorizing isolated facts.
Key techniques I use:
Concept-first teaching: I start with the “why” before the details, so everything that follows makes sense.
Active recall and questioning: I regularly ask students to explain ideas back to me, predict outcomes, or solve problems aloud.
Clinical or real-world framing (when applicable): This helps students connect abstract material to practical use.
Adaptive pacing: I slow down for difficult topics and move quickly through areas of strength.
Spaced repetition and pattern recognition: Especially useful for heavy memorization subjects like medicine, biology, or pharmacology.
I aim to create a low-pressure environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes—because that’s where real learning happens.
