About Simon
Hello! My name is Simon and I am based in the city of Los Angeles. I am a former Admissions Counselor at USC and Caltech, currently a doctoral student at UCLA. I have experience with the entire college admissions process, from undergrad to master's to PhD. I am also a part-time math tutor, teaching classes up to AP Calculus BC. Outside of school, I have been a Dodger and Laker fan for 20 years. I babysit my roommate's cat, Ollie, who's a big fan of snacks and smelly socks.

I operate with an "office hours" style of teaching. Essentially, you bring your homework to me, I double-check your methods and answers, then correct any mistakes or let you know your strengths.
