About Chasen
My name is Chasen Vance and I love having the ability to make others' lives easier and seeing the progress that I have helped give to each of my students. I am from Reno, Nevada and graduated with an above 5.0 weighted GPA in high school. I loved being involved in my school participating in activities such as leadership, We the People, theater, and multiple sports. Being a part of my community is essential to my life and I hope to continue to do so here in Los Angeles. I have tutored for two years and been able to help each student that I worked with maintain an above 3.0 standing in their math classes. I am working in Los Angeles as an actor as well because I enjoy being able to lift others up through my performances and I hope to lift your student up and get them through their math experiences.

We start by reviewing what has been taught to your student since the last session. We then talk about and go through the separate complex ideas to understand what needs to be reviewed and practiced more. The rest of the time is spent ensuring understanding in each unit/lesson and maintaining what has been taught in previous sessions through step-by-step advice and/or tips and tricks, simplifying separate parts of equations, and finally your student will attempt to complete complex ideas from each lesson on their own and we will review before ending the session. The first few sessions are spent getting to know your student as well as progressing into a faster paced learning environment.
