About Gladys
Hello!
My name is Gladys, and I’m excited to offer my tutoring services to help students reach their academic goals. As a dedicated student tutor, I specialise in primary school Math, English, Science as well as History. I’m passionate about making learning engaging and effective. As I am a current student tutor in Singapore and will be moving to Australia in a few months to pursue my university degree, I am looking to tutor more students online or in person (in Australia of course). Moreover, I am open to tutoring students in Singapore physically during holiday periods when I am back home to visit, and online classes for the rest of the academic year.
With my 3 years of teaching, I’ve developed a personalised approach that caters to each and every student’s unique needs and learning style. I believe that every student has the potential to excel, and I’m here to support them every step of the way.
Whether your child needs help with homework, preparation for exams, or a boost in confidence, I’m committed to providing a nurturing and motivating environment. I strive to not only improve grades but also foster a love for learning that lasts a lifetime. I started teaching after I graduated from secondary school and fell in love with it ever since. Being the youngest in my family, I love how my students are like the younger siblings I never had, and I really enjoyed seeing them grow academically under my help, and having fun at it too.

- I adjust my teaching methods based off each students' needs and learning pace. I often curate my own questions/worksheets on ones weak topics, gathering suitable questions across various learning materials alongside bi-weekly timed questions to ensure they are on track with the progress and revision. I also select workbooks/practice papers based off each student's needs, hence not every student receives the same = equal amount of lesson materials!
My track records:
- Taught H2 history in 2023 (peer assessments)
- Been teaching Primary school and International school English, Mathematics and Science for almost 3 years now. ( students from ages 8-12)
- Currently teaching 7 students
- My students are able to produce results after a few months through applying the simplified methods and studying tips I've instilled in their work and practices!

(ONSITE AND ONLINE) : I will be able to teach the students physically during school holidays as that is when I will be back in Singapore. Online lessons will be carried out for the rest of the academic year (apart from holiday periods! I often provide crash course classes for the students during holidays as they have more time and energy to revise.)
