HI, my name's Xena and I have always been a high achiever and strive to help others reach their full potential.
I tailor my lessons according to my student's needs, focusing on turning what may seem complicated into easier terms to understand. Typically for younger students, a 1-hour session is a perfect balance, I use the Pomodoro method, 25 minutes focus, 5 minutes brain break and repeat. This method ensures the student stays focused and enthusiastic, it also has been proven to increase retention of information.
I am available to tutor Grades 1-7, focusing on building the fundamental basics in math for my students. I have always loved helping others and have been tutoring for family and friends.
