About Megan
Hi! My name is Megan-Leigh and I am currently a 3rd BSc Biological Science student at Witwatersrand majoring in Genetics and Medical Cell Biology. I enjoy gaming as it gives me a creative outlet and helps me build my decision-making and strategic skills. I enjoy dog walking, baking and spending time with my family. I am a Christian who serves in church in the Audio and Visual department on Sundays. I want to help others become more confident with their work. I understand that stress and pressure is a great toll on a person and I’d like to help make that easier in a respectful and supportive manner.

I ensure to plan and prepare well in advance before any lesson to help clear any uncertainties or confusions. I try my best to explain concepts in the most understandable way possible. Depending on the topic, I try to create simple mind-maps, diagrams, formulae tricks etc., to help grasp a concept. I am proficient in teaching in English. My lessons are aimed at those who are struggling to understand a concept or any confusion of a topic to help make it easier/more understandable. I try to create a respectful and supportive environment because I understand the stress and pressure that it can put on a person.
