About Thornton
I'm a college student studying math and physics. Whether you are ahead of your grade, or trying to catch up, I promise I will help lead you to success. I used a math tutor until 8th grade and it helped me tremendously. I not only understood more material than my class, but my tutor, and the work we did helped instill confidence in me so that I felt like I could conquer and math task! I want to help you feel that way too!

My main method to ensure a student understands the material is providing a brief overview of the topic, answering any initial questions, and then working on some practice problems with you. I work with you on the practice problems until we are confident you can conquer them on your own! Im always willing to answer questions along the way.
One reason I am good option to be your tutor is because Im still young! I know how frustrating these topics can be, and I promise I have the patience and commitment to make sure you get the material down. Ive taken physics through special relativity, quantum mechanics, and thermodynamics, and math classes through multivariable calculus, linear algebra, and differential equations. I have the experience in math and physics to provide clear and productive lessons to help you.
I have experience tutoring pre-algebra and algebra for middle and highschoolers, and I have also helped college students with their calculus classes. I took AP Calculus BC, AP Physics 1, and AP Physics 2 while I was in highschool, and I have mastered those subjects
