About Jazmine
I have just completed my A-Levels and received A* A* A despite being predicted BBC. I would love to give private lessons as it would enable me to give young people like myself a chance to recognise and fulfil their potential. Though I don’t have any formal teaching practice, my mum is a teacher so I have been given great methods and advice from her.

My teaching method is methodical and exam based. I believe that looking at and working out past exam questions is the way to succeed. I will practice ways of remembering names, theories and evaluation points that work for that particular student. There will be a focus on essay writing - time management as well as how to write a coherent, articulate piece. I base my classes on really trying to spark interest within the student and getting them to enjoy at subject they once struggled with. For example, asking them where they can see examples of what they are learning about in their own lives. This can in turn lead to deeper thinking about the topic. I approach each topic by breaking it down into small, manageable pieces - not moving on until it is completely understood. I will also teach students how to revise successfully on their own - tips on how to memorise content, not get distracted and how to schedule different subjects.
