Jo is an amazing business teacher who tutored me online throughout year 13. she was extremely helpful and taught me at the pace i needed, making sure i understood a topic before we moved on, and came back to it if i was ever feeling stuck. She has really clear and thorough powerpoints that she taught with, which were also great to revise from!! she’s also very friendly and funny, making her very easy to talk to and easy to voice whenever feeling like i needed help on anything. i definitely wouldn’t have been able to achieve the grade i needed without her - couldn’t recommend her enough!!

I started tuition with Jo towards the middle of Year 12 when I was consistently achieving C/D grades in my mocks and lacked confidence in the subject. From our very first session, Jo quickly identified the gaps in my knowledge as well as the mistakes I was making in exam questions.

What stood out most was how personalised her teaching was. Rather than simply going through content, she focused on the areas that would have the biggest impact on my grades and helped me develop a much stronger understanding of the subject. She also taught me how to approach exam questions properly, structure my answers, and avoid common mistakes which, could cost me marks. Additionally, her understanding of the exam board and exam trends helped me feel much more confident going into my exams, knowing I had covered not only my weaknesses but also areas that were likely to appear.

Jo was always patient, encouraging, and genuinely invested in my progress. She made sure that I stayed on top of my Business revision and completed any homework or exam questions she set between sessions. This level of accountability helped me stay consistent throughout Year 13. Even when I struggled with certain topics, she found different ways to explain them until they finally clicked. Over time, my confidence grew significantly, and so did my results.

Thanks to Jo's support, I improved from averaging C/D grades to achieving an A at A-Level. Looking back, I can honestly say that her tuition played a huge role in helping me achieve a result I didn't think was possible. I would highly recommend her to any student looking to improve their grades and build confidence in their abilities.

Jo helped me a lot with my A-level business as she helped me understand and had resources for any topic I struggled with. She also provided lots of helpful resources for my independent revision. As well as being a great tutor, Jo is a lovely person and made the lessons more enjoyable for me.
