I am currently a second year medical student at Imperial Collage London. I am very friendly and approachable. And I have ample experience working with children of all ages.
I am an avid violinist as well as martial artist in my spare time.
I speak Spanish fluently, and have also enjoyed studying other languages, but my passion lies in the sciences.
I look forward to meeting you and embarking on an exciting academic adventure.
I primarily support the principle of self learning - meaning that I always encourage my student to attempt an answer to any question they may have. I believe you cannot learn simply by being told what is correct, but by building on your own knowledge and impressions.
I am happy to help with homework and coursework, however I will also be setting aside some time to understanding principles. I tend to set my own homework that I expect to be completed before each session.
My grades include 10 A*s and 2 As at IGCSE (As in Russian and history)
I achieved a score of 42 in the IB. With 7s in all my higher level subjects (chemistry, biology, Spanish and maths) and a 7 in standard level English. And a 6 in standard level history.
I am happy to teach GCSE, A levels and IB diploma.
The GCSE subjects I will teach include maths, Spanish, biology, chemistry and Latin.
The 6th form subjects I am happy to teach are: biology, spanish, chemistry and maths.
I have had experience with the UCAS process, as well as offering tutoring for BMAT and UKCAT and helping prepare for Medical School interviews, and preparing personal statements.
I have tutored IGCSE biology, maths, Spanish and chemistry in the past, and I have found this experience both enjoyable and enriching.
I have tutored Latin at both Ks3 level an at GCSE.
I have also had some experience teaching Maths, Chemistry, Spanish and Biology at A level.
I also have experience with younger children, as I spent two years volunteering with mentally disable children - an experience I have thoroughly enjoyed!
I consider myself to be patient, and find it easy to communicate with people, so I have been successful conveying complicated ideas simply in the past.
