About Canran
Hello! I’m a student just like you who's in college. I am an extroverted, talkative, and passionate math tutor with experience both as a student and as a member of Mu Alpha Theta, a national mathematics honor society. I deeply understand the challenges middle and high school students face in math, whether it feels difficult or boring. My tutoring approach focuses on building true understanding, not just memorizing formulas, so you can gain confidence and enjoy the learning process. I tailor every session to each student’s needs, guiding them step by step while making math engaging and accessible. With me, let's make this subject more joyful.

Me as a student myself, can relate deeply with students on their academic journey, especially those in middle school and high school. This perspective allows me to design efficient and customized ways to support their learning. My experience as a member of Mu Alpha Theta/math tutor in high school has helped me find and validate this approach. I primarily tutor students in middle school and also high school who find math challenging or disengaging. I like focusing on fostering genuine understanding rather than rote practice. In my classes, I aim to make math concepts more accessible to real life and engaging, guiding students to not only solve problems but truly grasp the reasoning behind them.
