About Eleni
I love getting to know my students. I think it helps so much in creating a safe space where we can explore the voice without holding anything back. Music is such an incredible means of expression that, personally, has played an enormous part in my own life.
I have mostly involved myself in jazz and operatic repertoire, but would be more than happy to apply my expertise to any style the student wishes!
I also have involved myself with studying means of maintaining vocal health, and would be able to guide my students through any physical bumps along the way.

I think it is vital to approach each lesson with a physical debrief: where there is tension in the body, difficulties found when practising and where the student wishes to go with the repertoire.
Next,I'd lead the student through a series of vocal and physical warmups- these are crucial in preventing any vocal damage.
We'd then work on the pre-chosen repertoire (of any genre the student wishes) and work on sound placement, posture, projection and emotional interpretation.
Finally, the lesson ends with a moment of reflection on what work needs to be done for the next session, followed by a vocal warm-down.
