I understand how students learn, but also that each student is different. I like to view lessons as student-led, targeting the areas which they have identified as weak-points. Throughout this process further improvement areas become apparent to me, which allows for students to have all gaps in their knowledge to be fixed by the time of their exams.
I believe that truly understanding a topic is the key to success. In each lesson I will really push not just for the student to be able to scratch the surface and meet the bare minimum, but to deeply understand what is happening and create ideas of their own.
Lessons will typically take 1 hour, with an extra few minutes either side to ensure that time is not lost through technical problems.
I have a strong depth of knowledge in all subject areas which I Tutor for. In GCSE I received eight subjects at Grade 9 and two at Grade 8. This included 100% in both Maths and Further Maths. At A-Level I have received A* in Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Computer Science.
I will offer tutoring for Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Computer Science for both GCSE and A-Level
