About Stephen
As a result of our weekly sessions, my student has developed more confidence in her speech patterns, identifying grammatical mistakes, and improved pronunciation of words. I identify their weak points and establish examples and use visuals (pictures, videos) to make the sessions more enjoyable. The key is to listen to the student to see where the struggles are, and find a consistent approach that makes learning easier and more enjoyable. The objective is to understand the fundamentals of languages, identify the benefits of speaking and writing correctly, and sustain consistency in practice and review.

I meet with my student via ZOOM twice a week for one hour. I prepare using a specific practice, such as grammar, the proper use of adverbs and adjectives, improving vocabulary, practice speaking in short form. Sometimes I use reading from texts to review sentence structure. I include video sessions to enhance learning techniques. The purpose of the lessons is to help my student grasp the English language and instill confidence in her speaking ability. I have been doing this for the past year. I'm patient and have a sense of humor to provide levity and ease in formulating thought.
