About Allyssa Laurice
My name is Allyssa and I am a university student in USYD studying Bachelor of Nursing (Advanced Studies). I have always enjoyed learning maths and whenever I can, whether it's with other peers or my siblings, I'm always happy to help them understand any concepts they may find challenging. Through their positive responses, I found myself enjoying myself when teaching. Furthermore, I love spending time and taking care of children. Through my patience, I am able to work with children and have been asked to babysit :)

I am currently a university student. In high school, I excelled and enjoyed doing maths especially during my HSC years.
- able to understand and explain key concepts
- teaching methodology: first, I explain the concept in an easy and understandable way, give examples and ask them to verbally show me how to solve the question, then give more examples to do by themselves
- i create my own materials. i do not have materials created for all primary years. however, once you let me know the topics in advance, i can create the materials by the time the lesson starts.
- i believe that once they are able to explain the concept to me, they have understood it
- very patient and understands that children have different understanding abilities
- length of lessons are usually 1-2 hours (negotiable)
- lessons are for primary students
- preferred to do lessons over zoom or a public place we can agree on
- tutoring experience: had 3 younger siblings that I tutored in Maths
