About Naomi
I graduated from a middle college, earning my Associate's in the Arts alongside my diploma, before receiving my Bachelor's in Creative Writing. I've been working with children since I was in high school, as well worked as an RA (resident advisor), TA (teaching assistant), CA (classroom assistant) and substitute teacher. Currently, I'm working as a Resource Room teacher, giving intervention to students struggling with reading, writing, spelling, and math.

My lessons are for students from the ages of 6-18 who require help with reading, spelling, and comprehension. I utilize UFLI Foundations which is based on the Science of Reading to help students learn the 44 Phonemes, or speech sounds, of the English Language, and teach the strategies from "I Read It But I Don't Get It" to help students understand and remember more of their readings. I also encourage Quizlet usage for memorizing sight words and learning how to spell.
