I take a patient, structured and exam-focused approach to tutoring, designed to build confidence as well as understanding. I break down complex scientific ideas into clear, manageable steps and use real-world examples to help students make meaningful connections. My lessons are interactive and tailored to each learner’s needs, whether they require support with core concepts, exam technique, or extension work to push them beyond their targets. I use a mixture of direct teaching, guided practice and short diagnostic tasks to check understanding throughout the lesson. Students are encouraged to think scientifically, ask questions, and engage actively with their learning. I also integrate retrieval practice, past-paper questions and mini-reviews to strengthen memory and boost exam performance over time.
