About Basil
I am an Electrical Engineer, I did my A-levels and Bachelor's degree in the UAE. I am good in maths and applied science, and I have always helped my colleagues with their courses, and never did this as a job, but I know that I am good at it as I always got requests from collegues to help them with their units, which is the best kind of feedback a tutor can get.

I always focus on examples, as this is the only way to learn. I do however go over the basics, principles and rules, then slowly move to basic problems, and then to advanced and challenging problems. I always let the student solve the problem their way, and if it's incorrect I would highlight their mistake and how they can avoid it. In Mathematics I believe that before knowing what to do, we have to know what to not do.
