About Freddi

Miss Freddi is not just a dancer, but also a speech therapist, language tutor, illustrator, and singer-songwriter. She is, in particular, well trained and experienced in teaching young people with special educational needs and disabilities. Her teaching approach is a holistic one. You and your child will not be just learning how to dance, but also how to use dance as a means to connect to people around you. So come on in and have some fun, artistic endeavour!

About the lesson

In this course, we are going to learn 1) About our body: somatic training of senses is the first step to movement and dance 2) Basic melodic movements using rhythmical chants: easy for children with SEND 3) How to communicate with one another using movement and dance Miss Freddi's belief: 'Dance, as an art form that no verbal output is needed, creates the fundamental basis for an inclusive class'
