About Lilia
I have danced since I was nine years old. My training and dance includes traditional Armenian dancing, ballet, jazz, hip-hop, modern, contemporary, American Rhythm and Smooth Ballroom and International Latin and Ballroom. I competed in Amateur International Latin style for one year when I was 18 years old. Within four months I was 20th in the USA. Just eight months later I finished 8th in the US Amateur Latin Nationals. I have been teaching Ballroom since I was 15 years old. I am a previous studio owner. And I have trained dancers of all ages to compete and perform. I also choreographed wedding first dances. In addition to my dancing, I am a singer, model, pianist, and mother of two.

I am an ISTD Certified Adjudicator and have trained with some of the best in the Latin world. I’ve been teaching since I was 15 years old and have worked with all ages. Understanding your students and why they want to learn to dance is very important to me. Just as much as making sure my students learn how to dance like themselves, not like me. My goal is to guide my students to their highest potential by giving them understanding of the fundamentals and mechanisms of Latin Ballroom. This way they can continuously develop their dancing into their own unique style.
