About Farah Amanina
Hello there! You can call me Nina. I am an experienced math tutor with almost 2 years of experience which my specialty is teaching mathematics for both primary and secondary students.
My main objective is to always ensure that my students enjoy the lesson, because I believe, without excitement or joy feeling, you will eventually get bored throughout the session. This is same for both myself and my students so I often prepare myself before the class started to make sure that the class my students attending are engaging and interesting so there is always 2 ways of communication happening inside the class :)
I have tutored more than 100 students (in group & personal tutoring) to a high level of competency through the skills I teach and being able to adjust my tutoring style to match a student's learning style. I know how important it is that a student feel confident in their work and know how to approach a problem from multiple angles.

I am a full-time Data Analyst and a part-time passionate tutor. Most of my years of tutoring experiences would be for primary students (standard 1-6) and secondary (form 1-3).
I normally will first assess my student's math skills and only then I will start customizing the teaching plan and come out with the most effective teaching method(s).
My methods include:
-Math games
-Lecture and hands-on exercise
-Problem-solving (usually pair work) >> will help students be creative in sharing their ideas because I believe there is no specific way to resolve math problem, instead, we can find opportunities of different way of learnings through this method
