About Ella
Teaching is about building a mental map of how logic flows through a system. It is often surprising how quickly a complex block of code becomes readable once you understand the underlying structure. I utilize my background in consulting to ensure students grasp why we write clean code for professional environments. Possessing a BS in Economics from Chicago Booth, I sometimes forget that code is still a foreign language to most people. My 6 years of teaching experience across 123 students have refined my ability to explain data structures, algorithms, and backend API concepts clearly.
I spent 8 years at Deloitte and Accenture before moving into a SaaS data analyst role. JavaScript and Python clean code practices are my daily bread. I also handle SQL databases and competitive programming problems regularly. My goal is to make technical interviews feel like a natural conversation rather than a stressful interrogation.
