About Bokang
My name is Bokang, a Data Science student at IU International University of Applied Sciences with a strong academic background in Mathematics, Statistics, and Mathematical Analysis. Alongside my studies, I teach Mathematics and Physical Sciences to Grade 10–12 learners, as well as entry-level university students. My passion for teaching comes from a deep belief that knowledge becomes more powerful when it is shared. I enjoy helping students break through challenges, turning subjects they once found intimidating into areas of confidence and curiosity. Teaching allows me to not only reinforce my own understanding but also to guide learners in developing critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills that extend beyond the classroom. I am especially interested in showing students how Mathematics and Science connect to real-world applications, inspiring them to see these subjects not as obstacles, but as tools for future success. For me, teaching is more than just explaining concepts—it is about mentoring, motivating, and empowering students to realize their full potential. I started tutoring when I was still in high school doing grade 10. As I was sharing knowledge with my classmates I realized that sharing knowledge boosted my academic performance and I became very passionate about tutoring. After I finished matric I started my own tutoring company accommodating up to 100 learners per week both online and in person.
