About Karr
At A’s For Days Tutoring, we didn’t just show up…We showed up when it mattered most. We launched during the pandemic (you know, when banana bread recipes were trending and students were being taught math over glitchy Zoom calls). Schools were doing their best, but let’s be real, education wasn’t quite what it used to be. That’s when we rolled up our sleeves and said, “Let’s fix this.” What started as two university students helping classmates survive online classes turned into a full-blown tutoring company. Why? Because we realized something big: Students don’t struggle because they’re lazy or incapable. They struggle because they’re not being taught the right way. We’re a team of current and recent university students from programs like Engineering at McMaster and Life Sciences at U of T, etc. so we know what it’s like to wrestle with tough material (and how good it feels to finally get it). We also know what solid, pre-pandemic teaching looked like, and spoiler alert: today’s school system isn’t always hitting the mark. That’s where we come in. We fill in the gaps. We break things down. We make learning click. And yes, we even make it fun. (Well, as fun as algebra can get. No promises about Shakespeare.) With our ever-growing library of past lessons, assignments, practice tests, and study notes, we don’t just wing it, we bring it!
