About Sami
My name is Sami and I'm a Geelong-based engineer and educator with a passion for technology and teaching.
I completed my Master of Cyber Security at Deakin University in 2024, building on a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering with Honors from the University of Engineering and Technology. Before moving to Australia, I spent several years as a Science and Computing teacher, where I taught Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Computer Science to secondary-level students — so standing in front of a student and breaking down a difficult concept is something I've been doing for a long time.
I understand what it feels like to struggle with a subject, and I know that the right explanation at the right moment can completely change a student's confidence. That's what I aim to provide in every lesson — clarity, patience, and a genuine interest in helping you succeed.
Outside of tutoring, I work in customer service and hospitality, which has sharpened my communication skills and my ability to connect with people from all walks of life. I'm approachable, reliable, and committed to showing up prepared for every session.

About My Lessons

I hold a Master of Cyber Security from Deakin University and a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering with Honours, and I have years of experience as a classroom teacher. That combination means I can explain complex ideas clearly and patiently, tailored to the way you learn.
What I teach: Python, programming fundamentals, computer science concepts, and cyber security basics — from absolute beginner through to university level.
How I teach: I take time to understand where you're stuck and build lessons around real examples, hands-on practice, and step-by-step explanation. No jargon, no rushing — just clear, practical instruction.
