Having worked as a teaching assistant at the University of Manchester, and having also organised outreach events for kids and teenagers as a Student Ambassador, I have gained extensive experience in tutoring over the last few years. My teaching methodology comprises personalised Intended Learning Outcomes (ILOs) for every meeting, and a tailored plan of Aims, Activities and Assessments (3A method) to keep the student engaged and receptive across the duration of every session. The typical length of a lesson in my experience should aim to be around 1:30h to avoid over-saturation of the student, always with a short break in between. I teach students from GCSEs all the way up to University. Looking forward to pumping those grades up together! :)
