About Fariha
During my time in high school, I had the opportunity to be able to help students with subjects in school during the Covid period. It was a complete voluntary experience and from there I was able to grow and understand how to stay connected and professional environment with a student. I definitely want to be able to build a connection with student that they have no hesitation about asking any questions that they might think is simple to many others but is harder for them. I was like that and I had to build up the confidence to ask questions even if it means I was supposed to know it. I want to be able yo build that exact confidence for my students. To give a very straightforward way of describing my personality, I would definitely say that I’m very friendly, communicative and ambitious. When I’m struck with challenge, I do my very best to overcome it without any fear.

- My core teaching methodology are to be able to teach the basic concepts and principles of the certain topics and do more practice questions to be able to achieve the pattern and regularity of questions that may appear on an exam.
- I plan to do both virtual (zoom, teams, google meets) and in-person depending on the individual.
- I make my lessons based on the syllabus they provide me or even what they want to do better in. I mainly make these lessons for students in middle school, high school and first year of university/college for a Science/English degree.
- What sets me a part from other tutors are that I am used to inconveniences. Even if I have a lesson plan for a student, but they rather want help for another topic on that subject, I can easily manage to help them on the day. I usually like getting back to students with questions they send me as immediately as possible. I also can accept when I’m not sure about a question. So, I take sometime a forward it back to students the next day.
