About Sahar
I am Sahar, a Biology tutor with A Levels in Biology and 6 A*s at GCSE. With hands-on clinical exposure across Paediatric Oncology and Cardiothoracic Surgery, I connect topics like cell division, genetics and homeostasis to real cases that make the subject genuinely click. Every Biology lesson is built around your syllabus and current level across all major boards, combining clear explanation with focused exam practice.
What we will cover:
Cell biology, organisation, infection and response, bioenergetics, homeostasis, inheritance, evolution and ecology, all taught with clear step by step explanations.
Mitosis and meiosis in detail, covering every difference students are expected to explain accurately in the exam.
The nervous and endocrine systems, homeostasis and the roles of the kidneys, skin and pancreas, which students consistently find difficult to distinguish.
Genetics and inheritance including monohybrid crosses, Punnett squares, sex determination and genetic engineering.
Required practicals in full, including how to write conclusions, evaluate reliability and answer the written questions they generate.
Past paper questions and mark schemes throughout so exam technique, command words and answer structure are second nature before the real thing.
