About Stephen
I enjoy helping students transform their interest in music into practical guitar skills they can confidently apply. My teaching approach focuses on patience, encouragement, and creating a positive atmosphere where learning becomes enjoyable and productive.
With a Bachelor's Degree and 9 years of teaching experience, I have worked with students from different backgrounds, helping them improve technique, develop musical awareness, and perform with greater confidence through structured and personalized instruction.
My goal is to inspire students to become independent musicians who continue learning beyond the classroom. By focusing on strong fundamentals, creativity, and disciplined practice, I help learners achieve lasting success with the guitar.

My lessons are designed to help students build a strong musical foundation through clear instruction, practical exercises, and consistent practice. I encourage active participation, making each session interactive while helping students develop confidence and technical precision.
Students learn acoustic guitar, electric guitar, chord progressions, fingerpicking techniques, strumming variations, rhythm guitar, lead guitar, scales, fretboard navigation, music theory, ear training, improvisation, composition, accompaniment, performance skills, and recording fundamentals.
Every lesson is adapted to the student's learning style and musical ambitions. I provide structured practice schedules, personalised feedback, and regular progress reviews to ensure continuous improvement while keeping students motivated and engaged throughout their learning journey.
