Hi there! I’m excited to help you with math! With a double major in Biology and Psychology from Rutgers University-Camden, I bring a fun and clear approach to teaching math. Whether you’re in Pre-K or 12th grade, I’ll tailor my lessons to your needs, making algebra and trigonometry easier and more enjoyable. About My Lessons
As a dedicated and friendly tutor with a strong academic background, my approach is designed to make learning engaging and effective for each student. Here’s how I structure my lessons and what makes my tutoring unique:
Teaching Method and Techniques:
I believe in creating a supportive and interactive learning environment where students feel comfortable and motivated. My teaching methods combine clear explanations with practical examples and hands-on practice. I focus on building a solid foundation in mathematics by addressing individual learning needs and encouraging critical thinking. I use a variety of techniques, including visual aids, real-life applications, and interactive exercises, to make complex concepts more accessible and relatable.
Typical Lesson Plan:
A typical lesson starts with a brief review of previous material to reinforce understanding. I then introduce new concepts with step-by-step explanations and examples. We work through practice problems together to ensure comprehension and address any questions. At the end of each session, I provide a summary of key points and assign targeted practice problems to help solidify the student’s grasp of the material.
