About Lea Anne
Hi! I'm Lea Anne, and I have always had a strong interest in Mathematics. During my elementary and high school years, I actively participated in mathematics competitions, which helped me develop strong analytical and problem-solving skills. These experiences taught me that success in math is not just about memorizing formulas—it's about understanding the logic behind them.
Many students find Mathematics intimidating, but I believe that with the right guidance, anyone can improve and even enjoy the subject. My goal is to help students build a solid mathematical foundation, strengthen their critical thinking skills, and learn efficient techniques for solving problems.
I create a friendly and supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. I understand that every student learns differently, so I adjust my teaching methods to match each learner's pace and level of understanding.
In my lessons, I focus first on understanding the meaning behind mathematical concepts, then mastering problem-solving methods, and finally introducing helpful shortcuts and strategies when appropriate. Through practice and guidance, I aim to help students become more confident and independent learners.
I offer Mathematics lessons for Grades 1–12, whether students need help improving their grades, preparing for exams, strengthening foundational skills, or developing their interest in mathematics.

Teaching Manner:
I teach in a friendly, patient, and encouraging manner, ensuring that students feel comfortable asking questions and learning at their own pace. I carefully observe each student's strengths and areas for improvement so I can adapt my explanations to their needs.
Teaching Methods:
My lessons follow a structured approach:
1st Part – Understanding the Problem
I help students understand the concepts and reasoning behind the problem instead of simply memorizing formulas.
2nd Part – Mastering the Solution
Students learn step-by-step methods to solve problems accurately and confidently.
3rd Part – Learning Shortcuts (Optional but highly recommended)
Once the fundamentals are understood, I introduce efficient techniques and shortcuts to improve speed and accuracy.
4th Part – Practice and Reinforcement
I provide exercises or homework to strengthen understanding and develop mastery of the topic.
What Sets Me Apart:
As a tutor, I prioritize conceptual understanding before memorization. I believe students learn mathematics more effectively when they understand the "why" behind each step. I also teach practical shortcuts and alternative solution methods to help students become flexible and efficient problem solvers. My goal is not only to help students get the correct answer but also to build their confidence and analytical thinking skills.
