About Aastha
Hello! I am Aastha, a Mathematics Honors graduate and an IIT Madras Data Science foundation student with a strong passion for teaching Math and Science. I have been teaching students for the past 5 years and have been teaching online for the last 1 year. I teach students from K5 to K12, including SAT Math preparation and Vedic Math.
I understand that many students find Math difficult or stressful, so I focus on creating a comfortable and supportive learning environment where students can ask questions freely and learn at their own pace. My teaching style is simple, patient and concept-focused, helping students build confidence along with strong fundamentals.
I believe that every student learns differently, which is why I adapt my teaching methods according to the student’s level and understanding. I use clear explanations, regular practice and interactive problem-solving sessions to make learning effective and enjoyable.
Along with school Math and Science, I also teach Vedic Math techniques that help students improve speed, accuracy and mental calculation skills. My goal is not only to help students score better but also to develop their interest and confidence in the subject.
I am dedicated, friendly and committed to helping students achieve their academic goals through consistent guidance and support.

My teaching approach focuses on making Maths and Science simple, interesting and easy to understand for every student. I believe that every student can learn well when concepts are explained step by step with patience and clear examples.
In my classes, I first understand the student’s current level and learning style. I explain concepts in a simple way, followed by practice questions, problem-solving sessions and revision. I also use Vedic Maths techniques and easy calculation tricks to help students improve speed, accuracy and confidence in Maths.
A usual class includes concept explanation, interactive discussion, solving examples together, doubt clearing and practice exercises. I encourage students to ask questions freely so they feel comfortable and confident while learning.
As a teacher, I focus on building strong basics instead of only memorizing formulas. I try to make classes engaging, friendly and stress-free. I also provide regular practice and guidance to help students improve gradually.
My classes are intended for K5 to K12 students, including school syllabus Maths and Science, SAT Maths preparation and students who want to learn Vedic Maths and mental calculation techniques.
