About Andrada-Maria
My name is Andrada-Maria, and I am a Psychology and Neuroscience undergraduate with a genuine passion for education. Teaching is not something I started recently — it has been part of my academic journey from the very beginning. I graduated from a Pedagogical High School, where I received formal training in teaching methodology, classroom management, and educational psychology. This foundation shaped both my professionalism and my commitment to helping students succeed.
I have been teaching for over four years, working with students of different ages and academic levels. This experience has allowed me to develop patience, adaptability, and the ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and structured way. I understand that confidence in maths is just as important as technical skill, and I work to strengthen both.
I want to teach because I truly value the impact a supportive and knowledgeable teacher can have on a student’s academic path. Maths often feels overwhelming, but with the right guidance, it becomes logical and manageable. Helping students experience that shift — from frustration to clarity — is what motivates me.

Hi, I’m Andrada-Maria, a Psychology and Neuroscience undergraduate with a strong analytical and quantitative background. My studies have trained me to approach maths logically, systematically, and with a deep understanding of how students learn best.
My teaching style is structured, supportive, and tailored to each student. I focus on breaking down complex mathematical concepts into clear, manageable steps, ensuring strong foundational understanding before moving to exam-style application. I incorporate evidence-based learning techniques from cognitive psychology, such as active recall, spaced practice, and problem-solving strategies that improve long-term retention and exam performance.
Lessons typically last 60–90 minutes, depending on the student’s needs. Each session includes:

I teach GCSE and A-Level Maths students, and I adapt lessons for different abilities — whether you need help building confidence, strengthening core skills, or aiming for top grades.
