About Lana
Hi! I’m a DMA-trained vocal performer and teacher with over 7 years of experience. I love helping adult beginners, hobbyists, and singers who are returning to music after a break. My lessons are perfect for community choirs, karaoke nights, or just singing for fun. I focus on building confidence in a low-pressure, encouraging space.
We work on breathwork, posture, vocal relaxation, and mindfulness to make singing feel natural. Tone development and expressive technique are key parts of every lesson. I teach Jazz, Folk, Blues, and Contemporary Adult music. Singing is a wonderful way to explore creativity, self-care, and confidence.
Lessons are tailored to your pace and goals. You don’t need previous experience—just curiosity and a love of music. I’m passionate about helping students reconnect with their voice. Let’s make singing a joyful part of your life, no matter your age!

My teaching focuses on building healthy, sustainable vocal technique for performers of all levels. I emphasize posture, breath support, and safe singing habits. Lessons include strategies for vocal stamina, fatigue management, and pre- and post-performance care.
I guide soloists in training and church ensemble singers to maintain vocal health during demanding schedules. We focus on tone development, dynamic control, and expressive singing. Recovery, hydration, and mindful practice are central to every session.
Students also explore repertoire, sight-reading, and ensemble blending. My goal is to help singers perform confidently while preserving their voice for a long, sustainable career.
