About Agnes
I am a passionate Spanish tutor with 9+ years of experience helping High School and College students achieve their language learning goals. During my teaching journey, I have successfully taught around 150 students, guiding them through every stage of learning with patience and dedication. I believe that every student can become confident in Spanish when they receive the right support and encouragement.
My teaching philosophy focuses on understanding each student's learning style and creating lessons that match their individual needs. I teach grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, reading, writing, listening, and speaking in a balanced and practical way. Instead of asking students to memorise everything, I help them understand the meaning behind the language and how it is used in everyday life.
I use conversation practice, interactive activities, worksheets, reading exercises, and regular revision to keep students actively involved. I also introduce cultural topics and common expressions that make learning more interesting and useful. Every lesson is designed to build confidence step by step while keeping students motivated.
One of my greatest achievements has been helping around 150 students improve their grades and become comfortable communicating in Spanish. Many students who once found the language difficult now speak with greater confidence and enthusiasm. Their progress inspires me to continue improving my teaching methods.
As a tutor, I believe learning should always be a positive experience. My goal is to create a supportive classroom where students feel encouraged to ask questions, practice regularly, and enjoy every step of their Spanish learning journey.

My Spanish teaching methodology focuses on student-centred lessons that are practical, interactive, and engaging. Accountability encourages learners to set clear goals, track progress, and actively participate in lessons. Integrity ensures lessons are honest, fair, and tailored to each student’s abilities and learning style.
I embrace Flexibility, adapting lesson plans, exercises, and teaching strategies for different learning styles, proficiency levels, and personal interests. Communication is key; I foster conversation, discussion, and interactive exercises to help students internalise vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, and comprehension.
A Positive learning environment motivates learners, celebrates milestones, and encourages curiosity. I also integrate complementary subjects such as literature, grammar, vocabulary, and cultural studies to enrich understanding and provide practical application. My goal is to help students become confident, fluent, and motivated Spanish speakers.
