About Jenna
I have experience tutoring in both math and science courses. I have been a tutor for high school math classes, high school chemistry, and college level chemistry courses (including introduction courses, intermediate chemistry classes, and college classes like organic chemistry and biochemistry). I also have experience as a teaching assistant for a variety of chemistry and mathematics courses. In addition to coursework experience, I have experience as a laboratory professor, so I have hands on experience in laboratory skills.

Learning can be challenging, especially in math and sciences, but I like to try to make learning personalized to make it as stress-free as possible. I like to go one on one so each student can do their best.
I have had experience teaching and tutoring at the high school and college level. This has given me insight on where learning starts in these subjects to the end result of upper level classes. I begin tutoring with discussing the current level of the student, the goals of the student, and the class structure. In sessions, I like to work to catch up to class topics and give in depth explanations of material if necessary. My main goal is understanding of material to excel in the course. This can be done by going through some coursework examples or by discussing topics. Whether your goal is understanding enough to pass a subject or to work on specific topics to master a subject, we can set goals to meet educational goals.
I excel in teaching math and science subjects, specifically chemistry or algebra courses in high school or beginning college courses. I can also help in SAT or ACT studies.
