About Joseph
I'm Joseph. I have an honors degree in Mathematics and Biology from Maynooth University. I am working on my Master's in order to teach these subjects. I have worked as a teacher for over a year in both Carlow and Clare.
Before pursuing teaching I worked as a Microbiologist for a company in Tipperary. I absolutely love math and biology and I hope to get others to love them as much as me
I have worked with many Special educational needs students in both primary schools and secondary schools and have lots of experience with one on one tuition

I usually do 60 minutes split into two 25 minutes and a 10 minute break between
I work through questions in a step by step manner, having maths work neatly laid out is crucial for understanding
For maths lessons I usually work through one topic giving examples and working through solutions together before giving students an opportunity to work on their own
Biology is all about understanding key concepts and remembering definitions
I firmly believe that anyone can do maths, it's just a matter of making everything as clear and concise as possible. With that in mind I never want to make anyone feel uncomfortable with their level of maths and firmly believe that calculators are there to be used
