I've known Luke for about 15 years, since we first worked together in on the music for a film score. In 2017, along with David ben Shannon, he was credited for the film score on "Filmworker", the life story of Stanley Kubrick's right-hand man, Leon Vitali.

Luke is a very talented (and modest) musician. He plays guitar, keyboards, bass, drums, sings too, and is an accomplished music studio DAW engineer. He has engineered and published several very high quality multi-track, multi-video solo recordings where he performs every part.

He has been living in Spain these last 10 years or so, earning a living as a performing musician and as a music teacher. He has recently returned to live in the UK and is looking to attract new music students.

Luke is an inspiring teacher . Owing to his relaxed, easy manner and his deep understanding of music theory and performance skill, he makes each new step look easy and achievable to the student. He has good connections to other performing musicians and encourages his students to meet them, watch their live performances and broaden their own musical horizons.

As a former student of Luke’s, I highly recommend him! He helped sharpen my technical abilities, expand my understanding of harmony and gave me confidence, all the while tailoring lessons to suit my particular creative endeavours as a songwriter. He’s patient, thoughtful and has a wealth of experience to pass on. A trustworthy tutor indeed.
