About Rae
I've been teaching for over 15 years. I hold a head of department role at my school, and have a track record of getting my students to achieve high GCSE and A-Level grades. Students typically achieve an average percentage of 73% and over. My specialism is Resistant Materials, Graphic Design, CAD work and I hold a first class honours in BSc Product Design from Brunel University. I completed my teacher training at Roehampton University in 2008 on their BEd Design and Technology course.

Hi- I’m Rae. I’m a Design and Technology teacher in London, with over 15 years of creative and teaching experience, and I’m looking to tutor students either 1-2-1 or via video link (online), to address and develop their understanding of the curriculum for Design and Technology. A little about me: * 15 Years experience teaching Design and Technology under the UK curriculum * Experience teaching KS3, GCSE and A-Level Design and Technology * PGCE in Design and Technology * First Class Honours in Product Design from Brunel University * Track record of GCSE students achieving 73% and higher in final results * Comprehensive and robust delivery of the GCSE D&T NEA (aka: coursework for the GCSE) * CAD enthusiast * Hold a head of department role within my school * Can provide Homework and assessment activities, and past papers (for GCSE mainly) * Tutees will be provided with electronic access to textbooks online for the subject * Have extensive bank of teaching resources * Warm and approachable * Have full DBS disclosure
