About Brock
I am a guitar tutor with a Bachelor of Arts in Music Theory with Guitar Specialization and 4 years of teaching experience. My lessons focus on combining performance with music production skills. I cover fundamentals of audio engineering, home recording techniques, and tone shaping. Students also learn effects pedal use, basic mixing, and microphone placement. I’ve worked with early intermediate to advanced intermediate students and professional/expert session musicians. Lessons are practical and tailored to the student’s goals. I emphasize well-rounded musicianship by connecting playing, recording, and creative exploration. Students gain hands-on experience producing and refining their own music. I encourage experimentation with sound and arrangement. Over time, learners build confidence and independence. Lessons combine theory, skill-building, and applied recording techniques.
