About Claudia
I’m a unionized sound editor with the DGC who has been working professionally for over 8 years and I’d love to be your tutor whether you’re starting from the basics or already have advanced editorial knowledge.
Sound effects and sound design are my specialty but I’ll occasionally also work on dialogue and/ or ADR editing. Need help organizing a session? How about building dynamic ambiences? Explosive fires? Monster vocals? Cleaning up dialogue? Then let’s get to work!
My chosen DAW is ProTools but also utilize various other third-party software programs in my day-to-day jobs. These include but are not limited to soundminer, ediload, edicue, matchbox, and others. So if you’re looking on help to integrate these programs within ProTools, I’d be happy to help out with that too.

Whether you’re new to using Protools or already have a solid foundation, I can help you level up your game.
My lessons are personalized to the individual and can start wherever you feel most comfortable with. I often find it helpful to have a *free* 20 minute consultation before taking on students to assess what level they’re starting off on and also chat about what your primary objectives are with lessons so we can chart the best course of action moving forward. The consultation is also an opportunity for you to ask me any questions about my teaching styles or my work as a professional.
I don’t believe anything is too complicated for anyone to learn regardless of where they’re starting from, with a little patience and determination, anything is possible.
