About Jaden
I am pursuing my Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, majoring in Digital Marketing, at Appalachian State University. In my education, professional experience, and leadership roles, I have developed strong skills in communication, problem-solving, organization, marketing, and working with people from different backgrounds.
As a student myself, I understand having different strengths in some areas and needing additional support in others. My goal is to create an environment where students can feel confident asking questions, making mistakes, and working through challenging concepts on their own.
My professional and leadership experiences have also taught me the importance of being dependable, prepared, and adaptable. I intend to bring those same qualities into every tutoring session. Students can expect me to arrive ready to help, listen to their concerns, and adjust my approach based on their individual learning needs.
I especially enjoy taking concepts that may seem complicated in a textbook and connecting them to real-world situations. Understanding how something applies outside of the classroom makes it easier to learn and remember.
Most importantly, I want my students to know that I am invested in their success. Whether you are trying to improve your understanding of a subject, complete a challenging assignment, prepare for an exam, or become more confident academically, I will work with you step by step.
I strive to be more than someone who gives you answers. I want to help you develop the confidence and understanding to find those answers for yourself.

My approach to tutoring is simple: learning becomes easier when you can connect it to something you already understand. I focus on making lessons relatable, comfortable, and practical so students are not just memorizing information—they are actually understanding it.
I like to connect difficult concepts to real-world examples that make sense to the student. My job is to break that information down and explain it in a natural way. For example, if we are working on marketing, I might explain a concept using Nike, TikTok, a favorite sports team, or a business the student interacts with regularly. If we are working through a problem involving numbers, I might connect it to shopping, gaming, or another everyday situation. I also understand that every student learns differently. I am patient and willing to explain things in multiple ways until we find what works best for you.
I usually start by talking with the student about what they are currently learning and identifying what they understand versus where they are struggling. From there, we break the difficult material into smaller, manageable pieces.
We will work through an example together, and I will explain how and why we arrived at the answer. Then I let the student work through a similar problem on their own. Before finishing, we review the main concepts and make sure the student can explain what they learned in their own words. I don't want students to leave a lesson knowing how to answer only one question. I want them to leave understanding the concept well enough to handle the next question on their own.
What sets me apart is my ability to be personable, patient, and relatable. I know asking for help can feel uncomfortable, so I work hard to create a space where students can ask questions freely without feeling judged.
I also don't believe tutoring should feel like sitting through another lecture. I want our sessions to be conversations where we work through problems together. Mistakes are completely okay—they actually help me understand where the confusion is so we can address it.
My lessons are great for middle school, high school, and college students, especially those who need concepts explained in a more practical, relatable way. I am particularly comfortable helping with business, marketing, communications, assignments, presentations, and general academic skills. Whether you are struggling with a specific assignment, preparing for an exam, or want to become more confident in a subject, I will meet you where you are and help you work toward where you want to be. My goal isn't just to help you get the answer—it's to help you understand how to get there.
