About Yanyu
I am a Digital Media Technology Engineering graduate from China, now living in Australia and doing master of teaching.I have always enjoyed logical thinking and problem-solving, which naturally led me to teaching maths. I understand that many students find maths intimidating, so I focus on creating a calm, encouraging learning space where mistakes are part of progress. My goal is to help students truly understand concepts, not just memorise formulas, and to gain confidence step by step through clear explanation and practice.

As someone who grew up in China, the maths I learned since childhood was very advanced and challenging compared to many other education systems. Because of this background, I can break down difficult concepts in a simple and clear way, and help students build strong logic step by step. My lessons focus on explaining why things work, not just memorising formulas, so students can actually understand and feel confident applying maths in school.
