About Marcus
Hi! I’m Marcus. I’m an IB Diploma graduate, and I teach Primary to Secondary (O-Level & IB) students.
I want to teach because I know how stressful school can feel — especially when lessons move fast and you’re expected to “just get it”. I’ve been there myself. During my own time as a student, I realized that most people don’t struggle because they’re bad at a subject — they struggle because no one explained it in a way that made sense to them.
That’s why I teach. I want to help you actually understand what you’re learning, not just memorize answers for exams. My goal is to make lessons clear, calm, and useful, so you feel more confident walking into class and exams.
I’m patient, easy to talk to, and I won’t judge you for asking “basic” questions. If you’re confused, we’ll slow things down. If you’re doing well, we’ll push further.
At the end of the day, I don’t just want you to score better — I want you to feel less stressed and more confident about school.

Hi! I’m Marcus, a patient and approachable tutor offering 1-to-1 and small group tuition for Primary to Secondary students, including O-Level and IB.
I’m an IB Diploma graduate, with a strong foundation in Mathematics and Sciences, and I understand both exam requirements and conceptual learning—especially important for IB students. Having gone through the IB system myself, I know how to break down complex topics and teach students how to think, not just memorise.
My teaching style is:
Clear, structured, and easy to understand
Tailored to each student’s pace and learning style
Focused on building strong fundamentals + exam confidence
I help students with:
Concept understanding & homework support
Exam techniques and time management
Revision planning before tests and exams
