About Margot
Struggling to practice soloing alone is a common frustration for guitarists. I provide custom backing tracks so students can practice soloing at home with confidence. This method works well for performance-focused students and those returning to the guitar. My 7 years of experience at the conservatory level shape how I explain rhythm guitar and grade exam preparation.
Each lesson focuses on specific skills that bridge the gap between amateur playing and professional execution. You will find that regular practice with these tracks builds independence. I enjoy seeing the moment a student finds their own musical voice.

I am a disciplined teacher. My career began 7 years ago after I finished my Bachelor of Music in Violin with a Voice minor at the McGill Schulich School of Music.
I have guided 262 students ranging from absolute beginners to advanced players needing direction. My expertise covers strumming patterns, acoustic technique, and complex songwriting. I also teach improvisation, rhythm guitar, and fingerpicking.
Students appreciate how I incorporate ear training and chord transitions into their practice. I emphasize barre chords to help performers gain control over their instrument. You are welcome to join my studio for a session.
