About Carol
I am a Parsons School of Design Professor with over 20 years of teaching experience and a professional background as a multidisciplinary artist. My career spans advertising agencies, photo studios, graphic design, and fine art photography, giving me a unique perspective on the intersection of art and history. I hold an MFA from Hunter College and a BFA from Cooper Union, combining formal academic training with practical, creative expertise. I am passionate about making art history relevant and inspiring for learners of all levels, helping you connect the past to the present in meaningful ways.
