About Audrey
With 10 years of experience, I specialize in teaching singing to high school and college students, helping them unlock their full vocal potential. I am deeply committed to personalized learning, tailoring each lesson to suit the unique needs, abilities, and musical interests of my students. Whether students are preparing for auditions, improving vocal technique, or simply exploring their passion for singing, I design lessons that cater to their goals and challenges. My teaching approach combines creativity, technical skill development, and performance techniques. My teaching methodology for singing is centered on creativity, communication, compassion, and problem-solving. I believe in fostering an environment where students feel free to explore their unique voice while developing essential vocal techniques. Creativity is at the heart of my lessons, encouraging students to experiment with different styles and expressions, whether it's classical, pop, jazz, or beyond. I focus on open communication to understand each student’s goals, challenges, and aspirations, tailoring my approach to meet their individual needs.
Compassion plays a key role in my teaching style. I create a supportive and safe space where students feel comfortable taking risks and making mistakes, knowing it's all part of the learning process. I also use problem-solving techniques to address vocal challenges, helping students overcome any technical obstacles they may face. Beyond singing, I teach relevant subjects like music theory, ear training, and performance techniques, ensuring students have a well-rounded understanding of music. Ultimately, my goal is to nurture each student's passion for singing, helping them build confidence and find their true voice.
