About Eleanor
I am currently a dental student at the NYU College of Dentistry in Manhattan, NY, before which I earned a bachelor’s in biology and biochemistry from Carleton College in Northfield, MN. Prior to NYU dental, I prefaced my dental career with a year at the University of Pennsylvania during which I gained indispensable exposure to dental research. In addition to academia, I have extensive experience in biomedical and clinical research, dental assisting, and STEM and music courses tutoring/lab assisting. My love for dentistry stems from my childhood of being a competitive concert pianist (for which I obtained my Associate’s degree during my high school years) and the motor skills and artistry therein, and my mission to help others in a lasting and tangible way - to improve, maintain, or rehabilitate oral health care and thusly overall health. My love for knowledge building and aiding others with what I have the resources and skills for is intrinsically tied to my daily life and overarching career goals, and I hope to spread this skill set to a younger generation of students.
