Dear School Principal,
Good day!
My name is Christine Mae B. Caballes, a Science teacher with 8 years of teaching experience. I am currently teaching at Dumingag National High School in Zamboanga Del Sur, Philippines as a 10th grade Science teacher handling Earth Science, Biology, Physics, and Chemistry. I want to express my interest to become a teacher in your school.
I graduated with a Bachelor of Secondary Education major in Biological Science at Josefina H. Cerilles State College in Zamboanga del Sur last March 2016. I pursued Master of Arts in Education major in Educational Administration at Josefina H. Cerilles State College and graduated last April 10,2019. Finally, I took Doctor of Education major in major in Educational Management at Southern Mindanao Colleges and graduated last April 7, 2024. My advanced degree as well as my teaching experience as a Science teacher help me provide the best quality learning for my students in understanding Science concepts and skills in the most effective way.
Science is best learned through hands-on experiences. I also believe that Science education should be rooted in inquiry and discovery. I encourage students to ask questions, design experiments, and investigate phenomena. By actively engaging in the scientific process, students not only learn about Science but become scientists themselves. My students must understand that science is both relevant and constantly changing. To keep my students aware of and involved in science, I must implement numerous ways of teaching science. I plan to include hands-on activities, experiments, and even children’s literature.I employ instructional methods and materials that are most appropriate for meeting stated objectives. I plan and implement lab-based Science lessons based on the national standards. I also foster a classroom environment conducive to learning and promoting excellent student engagement.
I am a team player. I try my best to contribute my skills and resources for the benefit of my teamand the school in general. I am willing to do an interview in your most convenient time.
